My name is Rod Reeder, and for most of my life I believed I would retire in Canada — surrounded by family, stability, and everything I spent decades working toward. My career was long and demanding, and like so many people, I poured my heart into giving my family the best future possible.

When Tara and I finally retired at 57, we thought the hardest work was behind us. But something didn’t feel right. The life we envisioned — freedom, security, a place to grow with our children and grandchildren — no longer felt certain.
As a father and a provider, that realization hit me deeply.

So I started searching… for answers, for options, for hope.

And that search led us to Panama.

It wasn’t simple. It took learning, courage, and more determination than we expected. But the moment we stepped into our new life — into a community where family matters, where property matters, where people still greet you with warmth — we knew we had found our beginning again.

Now, our mission is to help others find that same sense of possibility.
